The land is 2.5+ acres just south of Elburn, Illinois. Elburn is
a growing small town, and is scheduled to have METRA train commuter service
to Chicago (an extension of the Geneva line) in a couple years.
It is part of the Windenoak subdivision on Kenmar Drive east of Hwy 47.

It is near the fifth green of the neighboring Hughes Creek Golf Course.
The golf course is uphill from the property on a plateau and does not really
overlook the property. There are clumps of trees between the 5th green
and 6th tee.
Particulars
It is 2.5+ acres as projected onto a map, but seems bigger due to hills,
trees, and bushes.
It is lot #100 in Windenoaks. The survey plat is
available at a higher resolution upon request.
It is on a south facing hill. There is about a 30 foot elevation
gain from the road to the top of the hill, a distance of about 300'.
There is a seasonal creek on the east edge of the property. A culvert
goes under the road to an out lot that eventually (~50' lower than the
road) empties into Blackberry Creek.
Additions
We planted a row of lilacs and honeysuckle bushes up the west edge of the
property, and they are all grown up now.
We planted yellow raspberries near the northwest corner to supplement the
black raspberries scattered about the property.
Most of the property is tall grass prairie (we seeded some of it, but most
is naturally occurring.) There are trees scattered along the back
property line, and a small woods on the east end (going around the curve.)
